This policy describes the terms for refunds when purchasing subscriptions on Lexo.nu.
1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14 DAYS)
1.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal
According to the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59), as a consumer you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from when the subscription started.
1.2 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To cancel your purchase:
- Send an email to info@lexo.nu within 14 days
- Include: Your name, email address, and "I wish to cancel my Lexo Pro purchase"
- You do NOT need to provide any reason

1.3 Refund Upon Withdrawal
A) If you have NOT used the service
If you have not logged in or used any Pro features:
- 100% refund of the entire subscription fee
- Money will be refunded within 14 days to the same payment method you used
B) If you have used the service
If you have actively used Lexo Pro (chatted, generated documents, etc.):
- You pay for the time you actually used the service (proportional fee)
- Formula: (Total price / 30 days) × Number of days you used the service
- Remaining amount will be refunded
Example:
Subscription: 249 SEK/month
You use the service for 5 days, then cancel.
Cost for 5 days: (249 / 30) × 5 = 42 SEK
Refund: 249 - 42 = 207 SEK
1.4 When Right of Withdrawal Does NOT Apply
You lose the right of withdrawal if:
- You expressly agreed that the service should start immediately (at registration)
- AND the service has been fully performed (e.g., you used all of the month's quotas)
2. REFUNDS AFTER THE WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
2.1 Regular Monthly/Annual Subscription
After the 14-day withdrawal period:
- No refund for the current period (month/year)
- You can cancel your subscription at any time (takes effect next period)
- Already paid fees are NOT refunded
2.2 Cancellation
How to cancel:
- Log in to Lexo.nu
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Click "Cancel subscription"
Alternatively: Email info@lexo.nu
Effect:
- Your subscription continues until the end of the current period
- You will not be charged for the next period
- You keep access to Pro features until the end of the period
3. REFUNDS FOR TECHNICAL ISSUES
3.1 When We Refund
We provide proportional refunds if:
- The service was completely unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours
- A critical error prevented you from using core features
- We breached our commitments in the Terms of Service
3.2 How to File a Complaint
To receive a refund for technical issues:
- Contact info@lexo.nu within 7 days after the error occurred
- Describe the error and how long it lasted
- Include screenshots if possible
4. NO REFUNDS FOR
We do NOT refund for:
- Cancellation after the 14-day withdrawal period
- Your account being suspended for violating Terms of Service
- Dissatisfaction with the quality of AI responses (AI can make mistakes - see our Disclaimer)
- Not using the service (you are responsible for canceling in time)
- Short disruptions under 48 hours
- Scheduled maintenance (notified at least 48 hours in advance)
- Problems caused by your internet connection or device
5. HOW REFUNDS ARE PROCESSED
5.1 Method
Refunds are always made to:
- The same payment method you used for the purchase
- Via Stripe (our payment service provider)
5.2 Timeframe
- Approved withdrawal: Refund within 14 days
- Technical complaint: Refund within 30 days after approval
